[All about Korean Market]

Hey guys long time no see! Today, I'm going to tell you about Korean Market. According to my experience traveling around the world, Market, is the best place to understand it's culture.
Shi-Jang is how we pronounce korean market in English. But because of the increase of super market,  these days we can't find many Shi-Jang as much as we did before.(We can still find several of big Shi-Jang still in each city though)

The Shi-Jang what I'm going to introduce you about is the biggest Shi-Jang , 'Seomun Market'in Daegu city. I lived in Daegu city until I was 15.

Do you know what Hottuck is? This is kind of a fried bread filled with honey and mixed nuts. It's called Hottuck because people who eats Hottuck should cool it by blowing it making a sound like "ho~ ho~".
Any way There are amazing hottuck in Seomun Market.

 This is a bread filled with sweet red bean. and it's called Pool-BBang. I have no idea why this is called pool BBang because 'pool' is grass in Korean.. ;;

Matthew Park introduce hanbok. I want more explane for hanbok. Hanbok is loved by korean people. So many people made modern hanbok like a wedding hanbok. Let's look that picture!!

I'll introduce about Korea traditional pictures. It drew by ink stick. There's many topics like
  people's everyday life, animals, buildings. Famous artists are 김홍도(Kim hong do),
 and 신윤복( Shin yun bok). 김홍도 usually drew people's everyday life. Second pictur is '씨씨름'. It looks dynamic. And 신윤복 usually drew women. This picture title are '미인도', '단오도'.

Introducing Hanbok

Hanbok is a Korean traditional clothing. Nowadays you only wear in some special occasions. Korean Hanbok is very beautiful and healthy. It is healthy because it's not tight, and according to oriental medicine, it is important to keep your body above chest cool, and below your belly warm, and Hanbok is designed according to this. The picture is K-pop group Girl's day wearing Hanbok.

Rice in korea

Our food culture is based on rice.
We eat rice every breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We eat almost kind of food with rice. Actually, we usually don't eat food excepting snacks and non-korean food.

Rice is very important in korea.

Korea Baseball

I think Baseball is the most popular sport in the world. There are many Baseball leagues in the world. Also in Korea there is a baseball league, called KBO(Korea Baseball Organization). Three years ago, there were 8 teams in KBO, but in 2 years, 2 teams newly made.
Now, there are 10 teams in KBO. NC Dinos, Lotter Giants, Sam Sung Lions, KT Wiz, Nexen Heroes, LG Twins, SK Wyverns, Doosan Bears, Hanhwa Eagles, KIA Tigers.
All teams should play 144 games in 1 season. Since 2011, Sam Sung Lions win the chamionship every year.



These teams have hometown. For example NC Dinos hometown is Changwon. This is why my favorite team is NC.

In Korean, cheering culture is developed. Many fans visit stadium and sing a song. Most of key players have their own cheering song.

Also, there are many delicious food is stadium, for example chicken!! Eating chicken while watching Baseball game is great!!

I love watching Baseball game in Stadium. When I was middle school student, I enjoy visit Sajik Baseball Stadium, Busan and watching Lotte Giants game. I think I was lucky, because Lotte won when I visit Busan.

Most of Gyeongsang people like baseball. In Busan, when opponet pitcher try to hold base runner, they shot 마!. It is very fun hahaha.

After Middle school, I couldn't go to Baseball stadium. I want to go stadium with my friends or family. I will go Masan Stadium in summer vacation!

hyo-shin Park, the best singer in Korea

I want to talk about hyo-shin Park.
I think he is the best singer in Korea.
Fisrt, let's talk about his profile.
He is born on December first, 1981. So he is 34 years old.
He is 178cm, and 65kg.
He's agency is jellyfish entertainment.
He graduated gyeong-hi university.
He sale lots of album. More than 25 albums.
Now, I talk about one episode.
He graduated seoul gwang-moon high school.
There were his friends, singer hwan-hi and whi-seong.
whi-seong and hwan-hi are so good at singing.
They are famous singer in Korea.
whi-seong said at one entertainment shows.
"hyo-shin is the legend in high school. There were lots of students who prepare the singer and they were all good at singing. But when hyo-shin sang at auditorium with mike, all students were silent to hear hyo-shin's song. And he always practiced. He didn't conceit about his talent and ability. He is one of the hardest students in our school."
whi-seong's word explain how hyo-shin gets his place, the best singer.
Lots of people said that we can't sing very well like him because his talent is excellent. His musical talent is the god's gift. I agree too. His voice is so fantastic and amazing.


We don't need more saying about hyo-shin Park. Just sing his song.

Taekwondo

I'm going to introduce you to one of the korea Taekwondo culture.
Taekwondo is now the Olympics as an excisise to train your body and mind. Taekwondo kicks uses technologly that combines the spped and strength.Taekwondo has a pumse and compete.
I am a two-stage of Taekwondo.

Korean culture

Korea is safe at night. We can go outside at night.
Many people work hard. They usually work over 12:00.
Korean are kind to  the foreigners. Korea people drink too much.
The transportation price is cheap. Korean people love soccer and baseball. They enjoy sports. Korean go to their parents house in octover and january. It is chu seok and new years day.
Korean do everything fast. There are many anniversary

There are many anniversary in Korea. The largest anniversary is Choosuk. I think it is similar with thanksgiving day, but Courtney hill didnt agree. Because in Korea, we make foods for ancestral rites. Except this day, there is one more day to make foods for ancestral rites. That is Seulnal. It 's on February. Choosuk is on September. I think these days are most largest anniversary in Korea.
Many children do new years bow to adults, and adults give children some money. They make foods not only for ceremony ,but also to eat. There are songpyun, dukgok..etc.

Also there one more reason people like these days. Because there are three connected holidays around anniversary. So people usually go travel in this time.

Fish bone at my throat.

I get a fish bone stuck in my throat.

Koreans usually swallow a fistful of rice or bread when fish bone is stuck,

so I tried it, but it won't came out.

I'm so nervous even if it is tiny.

But I don't want to go to ENT hospital,

because if I go to hospital, I will miss my favorite class.

It would be better if I get a fish bone tomorrow, so I can pass boring classes.

Venice♥Venezia

Venice and Venezia are same.

 Houses and ships are coloured with bright color.
Also there are many tasty food. Pasta, pizza, fried fish, gelato ice cream make us be hungry. There are many gondola that carry people.

I hope to go venice when i graduate high school. Every year many people visit here to enjoy carnival.
People cut the cow's neck. Young girl walk along the street. Most of people wear mask and go to the street. There is a burano island which IU made a music video.
All of the venice is enrolled in the Unesco.

Many people visit here when they marry with somebody.
They use italian language. There are 118 island and 400 bridge. We cannot use cars in the venice.

In world history time, I investigate Czech.
I want to see nice picture! So, I search Czech.

I think this picture is nice. After many years, I will travel Europe with my precious people.
Capital of Czech is Praha. In Praha, there are many beautiful thing.

 This is Praha castle. I think this is so nice.  Praha castle has nice night view. It is very beautiful. My wrist is sick. So I finished about Praha hahahaha.

Yesterday was Sunday. It means today is Monday. I hate Monday, because I'm too tired. I like Saturday.. I can do many things on Saturday.

I like pasta so i posting about pasta.

Lots of pasta exist in the world. 

but I like some pasta what it's flat noodle. So i introduce this shrimp pasta. I got this

Ingredients:
1 (12 ounce) package fettuccine
1 1/2 lbs uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Directions:
Cook fettuccine in a boiling salted water, depending the type of pasta or brand as time varies from one to the other, if its fresh home made pasta it should take between 2 to 3 minutes, always check while its being cooked to keep aldente, whilst dry Pasta it normally takes between 6 to 8 minutes in this case please check instruction on Brands details.

Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute shrimp in butter for 4 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Add the parsley, garlic, lemon juice, broth, salt and pepper. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until garlic is tender.

I want to introduce you to a song that I like: Ylvis-The Fox. At first, I was very shocked, but I got addicted, and I practiced the moves and performed it in front of our classmates. It's FUN!!!!!!

Good bye Gerrard

Steven Gerrard finished his career. His last match was friendly match with team Carrargher.
He spend his career in team Liverpool. Sometimes Liverpool won the Euro Champions League. Many player whose transfer fee is expensive leave the team. The ranking keep dropped. But Gerrard was captain of Liverpool, and he worked for one club. This is the one of the reason why people love Gerrard.

Hey My name is Eunha Baek and I'm in third grade in Changwon Sience High School. I'm not good at English but I will try to introduce myself.
I am 19 years old and I will enter university next year. I want to major in mathematics. I want to speak English well so I practice with (BEAUTIFUL) Courtney! :)
My school, CSHS is in Changwon City which is located in the southeast part of Korea. Changwon is quitely big. It is next to Busan, which is second biggest city in Korea.

Hi ! My name is Chae Bin. I' m third grade in Changwon Science High School. I'm studying english   with Courtney. My major is bioloy. I think It's better than physics. My hobby is drawing picture, listening to music and watching movie. I like maroon5's song.

Changwon is environment city. Many bike in the city. We call that bike "NuBiJa". It is very interesting thing.

My school is special high school, so we usually learn math and science. We must study very hard, but this school is so fun!!
