If I can change one thing about this school to make it more efficient, I would change our daily schedules.

I think, it is more efficient than any other one to change daily schedules.
During summer, we wake up at 6:30 AM. Before summer, we wake up at 7 O' clock AM. It isn't too late. When I wake up at 7 O' clock, I'm not tired during morning. now, I'm very tired. We get more time at morning, but also students more tired, too. So students who sleep at school in the morning are increased. At Result, wake up more early is not useful.

One of the schedule which I want to change is the lunch, dinner break. It is freaking short to do something such as Internet sulfing or playing soccer. The break times are too long to stay on my seat without any motions. To do something, we need ten minutes more. Then break time will be one hour.

last one is P.E class. We have P.E class one time a week. Sometimes, it erase by school events. As I mentioned, we have very few times to do exercise. If I can change, I put one more P.E class into schedule table.

Hey My name is Eunha Baek and I'm in third grade in Changwon Sience High School. I'm not good at English but I will try to introduce myself.
I am 19 years old and I will enter university next year. I want to major in mathematics. I want to speak English well so I practice with (BEAUTIFUL) Courtney! :)
My school, CSHS is in Changwon City which is located in the southeast part of Korea. Changwon is quitely big. It is next to Busan, which is second biggest city in Korea.

Hi nice you meet you. My name is Yu Min Jung. My friend just call me Yumin :D
I'm 19 years old girl and I go to CSHS science high school in Korea.

I live in Geoje which located in the southeast part of Korea. It's second biggest island in Korea. Very very nice place to sightseeing.

I really love to listen music. Especially jason mraz!! I love his song.
Also pentatonix songs are very good. I like them.

I want to be a math teacher because I think teaching is very worthwhile.
So to achieve my dream, I am studying hard... It's very sleepy :(

Lee han-yeong and changwon science highschool

 I am Lee han-yeong. I'm 3rd grade at changwon science high school.

I like playing game, even if i don't have time to play.

 All of students at this school are always tired because of many homework and tight schedule, but we are animated mostly. 

I love science, so this school is perfect place to be scientist.

Charles&Yeonho-CSHS Labs

CSHS contains Main wing, Dormitory wing, Gym wing, and Science wing. We'll introduce our science wing. As a science high school, there are a lot of laboratory and scientific instruments.

1st floor: Biology

- Global exhibition stand

There are exhibitions. Korean & global bees, butterflies, beetles, etc.

in biology lab, there are many microscopes. we use it when we have a experiment in biology class. we did some experiments like observing cells, dissecting experiment.

- Microscopes

There are microscopes more than twenty! Also they may connect with computers!!

On 1st floor, there are some exhibitions of insects in corridor. It decorates efficiently biology section.

2nd floor: Chemistry

- Chemical materials' room

Helium gas & Nitrogen gas (left side), the others reagents is in another room.

Chemistry is to study the way to react something. So, this materials' room has many kinds of measuring instruments(It's very much, so a whole room is filled with reagents!). Most of CSHS students, who took Chemistry, can research with that reagents and instruments.

- Element table display

There is the most expensive element table ever! Naturally, there is no radioactive metal :0

Seriously, Element table is almost all of Chemistry. But, almost all chemistry has just letter and elemental number. So, Chemistry teacher who is working our school, wants to build an element table with real elements. In 2013 spring, that table was built. It costs about 10 million won;;

3rd floor: Physics

- Experiment instruments

There are some experiment topics. Balmer series of hydrogen, Luminescence, etc.

Let us show our physics class. We do some experiments. we can measure the quantity of charge of electron, watch Hall effect, measure the velocity of light! I heard that they are bought in Germany(maybe it's right).

 - The workshop

We use this room when we invent something for Korean students' invention contest, or R&E.

This room is on the end of 3rd floor. There are sandpapers, saws, drills, and heat benders. We made a model of solar cooker with woods&panels.

4th floor: Geography & Astronomy & Environment

- Fossils

Naturally, dinosaurs, that are on the shelf, are not real.

On 4th floor, there are some exhibitions of fossils in corridor. It devised fossils following difference of era (Paleozoic era,Mesozoic era,Cenozoic era). We can also find some dinosaur figures. It's cute:)

- Planetarium

This is the most expensive item in CSHS! In past, we watched Solar eclipse with that!

On top of the Science wing, there is small observatory. School Planetarium club usually uses this place, and this club sometimes watched a planet far away like Jupiter, Saturn, and so on. They also observed solar eclipse in 2012. 7.

Well, our school has lots of things more than we showed. There're pretty awesome, right?

What activities(sports) we can in CSHS?

We can play so many sports in my school. We can play sports what volleyball, soccer and basketball.

What a great school!

CSHS's Fashion

Today, we will post about Changwon Science High School students' fashion. We're going to introduce it by time. When the students exercise in the morning before they eat breakfast, they usually wear gym clothes.

During the daytime, students wear ordinary clothes (jeans and T-shirts) or gym clothes. Some students wear gym clothes always, even when they are sleeping.

At night (from 7:00 pm  to 11:50 pm) they study in the study rooms. Most of them wear gym clothes, because ordinary clothes are more uncomfortable than the gym ones. At 11:50 pm, after the studying, they become exhausted and look like this.

These are our school uniforms. We don't have summer one. There are a tie and ribbon. (the color is gold!)

Whatever we wear, we are trying to get better in the everything that is needed to achieve our goals. :-D

Our school's major departmemts

The CSHS offers the students to choose a major subject. We have 7 different departments available they are as follows:

Math
Probably the most powerful group in our school. That's probably because math is considered the most important subject in our school. Not only that but many students and teachers in the math department have a strong self esteem about about their department.
There are currently 8 teachers and there were roughly 20 students in our grade last year.
Their club name is SF - Solution Finders

Computer Science
The department I'm in. This deparment ha s a relatively big influence on others compared to its size. There is currently 1 teacher and there were 3 students in our grade including me.
Its name used to be MATRIX, but we changed it to TIG. It has multiple meanings. I'll leave that to you.

Physics
Another department where teachers and students are proud of themselves. As I know, the physics department was the biggest in our grade. There are 4 teachers currently. There were two seperate groups called AEC and DioPhysics.

Chemistry
One more big department. There are 4 chemistry teachers in our school. Also the chemistry department is known for using the most amount of money on its R&E projects. Their club name is Chemidiem.

Biology
A weird department in my opinion. They also have two seperate groups. BioBbAa and EU. In our grade, there was a bit of rivalry between the two groups. Now, I don't think there are any.

Earth Science/Environmental Science
These two groups are kind of mixed together. The teachers share the same staff room. There are 2 Earth Science teachers and 1 Environmental Science teacher. There were 4 students in Earth Science and 5 students in Environmental Science. There wasn't a particular name for their club that I know of.


There is a kind of hierarchy between these groups.

Let me introduce our School Buildings.

Our Changwon Science High School is has four buildings.

First, Main Building. We are study Math, English, Korean history and World history in MB. And MB has study room, library and teacher's room so many teacher and external person in    MB.

Second, Science Building. SB is building that we study science(e.g. physics, biology, earth science and chemistry).
Third, Gym. We play basketball, volleyball, futsal, table-tennis,floorball, etc
Last, There is Dormitory, there are also cafeteria and snack bar and weight room in it. we live here.
